You hereby agree to abide by the following rules by using this forum. The first section is the most important, and failure to abide by it will see your posts deleted and potentially your account banned. The other 2 sections are pieces of advice which will make it more likely that your question will be answered.
Non-negotiable rules
- Intellectual Property Rights - You must not post material that is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights.
- No advertising, especially non-NessEngine related products. If you want to advertise your NessEngine projects, use the Showcase forum.
- No cursing, no racism, no foul language or sexism remarks.
- English only. If you don't speak English very well just use google translate, people will understand.
General rules
- Do not cross-post the same question to multiple forums.
- Don't bump your question in the same day it was asked, don't bump twice a day.
- Don't ask for private help in PM, that's against the very idea of the forum.
- Be polite, patient and respectful.
- Don't hijack - try to keep to the original posters topic.
Posting questions guidelines
- Always search the forum before posting. You should also familiarise yourself with the API and Manual.
- Summaries the topic accurately in the headline. For example "HELP!!" is not a valid headline.
- Provide the relevant information needed for others to help you, but don't dump all your code into the question. People are less eager to read huge chunks of code.
- Use the 'Code' button to format blocks of code.
- Don't claim to have found a bug unless you're really sure you know what you're talking about.
- If you find an answer to your own question, post it in your thread, it will help others.
- Be generous - give likes when people help you
thanks!
